SOUTH CAROLINA — A Columbia man was arrested Monday morning following a traffic stop in Prosperity, according to the Prosperity Police Department (PPD).
Police said an officer pulled over a vehicle on U.S. Highway 76 at Grace Street around 8:15 a.m.
The stop led to the arrest of Brian Myers, who faces multiple charges, including driving under suspension, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trafficking fentanyl.
PPD said the arrest was made in coordination with narcotics officers from the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO). Myers was taken to the Newberry County Detention Center.
