SOUTH CAROLINA — A Chester County man was arrested Monday after authorities seized fentanyl, cocaine, and other drugs from his home, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators said the raid occurred around 8 p.m. Aug. 18 at a residence on Hightower Road in Fort Lawn.
Deputies executed a search warrant and recovered 2.8 ounces of crack cocaine, nearly 1 ounce of fentanyl, and nearly 1 ounce of cocaine.
Edward Buchanan, 67, was taken into custody following the search. He now faces multiple drug-related charges, including:
Trafficking crack cocaine (28-100 grams) Trafficking cocaine (14-28 grams) Trafficking fentanyl (14-28 grams) Three counts of distribution of crack cocaine Two counts of distribution of cocaine Distribution of ecstasy (MDMA) Distribution of fentanyl
Buchanan is being held in Chester County Jail pending further proceedings.
