SOUTH CAROLINA — An Upstate man was arrested after deputies seized more than 165 pounds of cocaine and multiple firearms from his home, officials said.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said the drugs were discovered during a narcotics investigation on Knowlandwood Circle in Anderson at the end of June.
Deputies, working with the Drug Enforcement Administration and Anderson Police Department, confiscated approximately 166.5 pounds of cocaine and at least three guns.
Mayo Levord Pickens, 46, was arrested on June 26 and charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person convicted of certain crimes.
A judge denied Pickens bond, and he remains held at the Anderson County Detention Center.
