SOUTH CAROLINA — A Kershaw County man is facing multiple drug and weapons charges following a major narcotics bust earlier this week.
According to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Jarminski Cook was arrested Tuesday after deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on Campbell Street.
During the search, authorities recovered approximately 190 grams of cocaine, nine grams of crack cocaine, more than two pounds of marijuana, and a handgun.
The investigation was conducted in cooperation with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, and Camden Police Department.
Cook has been charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and felon in possession of a firearm.
He was booked into the Kershaw County Detention Center and later granted a $44,000 bond.
