SOUTH CAROLINA — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 51-year-old Ohio man on multiple drug charges following an incident at Credit One Stadium.
Russell Hodgkinson was taken into custody after deputies conducting foot patrols around the stadium observed a nitrous oxide tank in use.
Upon approaching Hodgkinson, deputies detected a strong odor of marijuana, prompting a probable cause search.
During the search of Hodgkinson and a wagon in his possession, deputies discovered a bag containing marijuana, over 1,000 LSD tabs, psilocybin mushrooms, methamphetamine pills, and a dropper tube containing liquid LSD.
Hodgkinson is charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a scheduled narcotic, and trafficking LSD in quantities exceeding 1,000 dosage units.
He is currently being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center on a $130,000 surety bond.
