OHIO — A 30-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning after Akron police seized hundreds of grams of drugs and a stolen handgun during a search.
The Akron Police Department’s Anti-Violence Bureau took Lexington Jacobs, 30, into custody without incident while executing a search warrant at a residence on the 2100 block of 22nd Street S.W.
Officers said the arrest followed an ongoing investigation into drug and criminal activity in a Kenmore-area neighborhood.
During the search, police confiscated 382 grams of methamphetamine, 47 grams of suspected fentanyl, 30 Xanax bars, 4 grams of crack cocaine, nearly $2,600 in cash, and a reportedly stolen handgun with an extended magazine.
Jacobs faces multiple charges, including weapons under disability, drug trafficking, drug possession, and receiving stolen property.
