OHIO — A 39-year-old woman from Portsmouth, Ohio, was arrested Monday following a drug investigation in Scioto County.
According to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, Brandy Cottrell was taken into custody after deputies executed narcotics-related search warrants at her home and business in Wheelersburg.
During the searches, authorities seized approximately 218 grams of suspected fentanyl and/or crack cocaine, along with digital scales and other evidence believed to be connected to drug trafficking.
Cottrell was charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs. She was scheduled to be arraigned in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Tuesday morning.
