
OHIO — A Wilmington woman has been arrested on multiple felony drug charges following an investigation by local and federal authorities.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers—along with the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Apprehension Team—took Melina Cogner of Wilmington into custody last week in connection with a multi-count felony drug indictment.
Cogner faces the following charges: two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, second-degree felonies; two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, third-degree felonies; one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony; possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a third-degree felony; possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony; and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
She is being held at the Clinton County Jail awaiting her initial appearance in Clinton County Common Pleas Court.
