OHIO — A long-term drug trafficking investigation in Dayton ended Monday with the seizure of alleged drugs, U.S. currency, and firearms, authorities said.

The Montgomery County R.A.N.G.E. Task Force had been investigating a drug trafficking scheme that led them to a location on the 3900 block of Otterbein Avenue.

A warrant was executed Monday, Oct. 6, resulting in the recovery of a substantial amount of what is alleged to be methamphetamine, fentanyl, crack cocaine, and marijuana, along with five firearms and cash.

One person was taken into custody and jailed on charges of alleged drug possession.

Authorities said the investigation into potential additional charges is ongoing.
