
OHIO — A Beavercreek woman was arrested Thursday evening following a domestic altercation and the discovery of multiple controlled substances, according to Bellefontaine Police.
Officers responded around 6:15 p.m. to Casey’s Gas Station after receiving a report of a dispute involving 35-year-old Kellye Gallant and another individual. Police said Gallant had left the scene before officers arrived but was later located walking nearby.
During the encounter, Gallant admitted to returning a bicycle to the victim and told officers she had consumed alcohol. A search revealed marijuana, Kratom, and psilocybin mushrooms, totaling about 7.74 grams, in her possession.
Gallant was charged with domestic violence and possession of controlled substances. She was taken to the Logan County Jail.
