OHIO — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a Jacobsburg man on drug possession charges over the weekend.
Monroe County deputies arrested 56-year-old Dennis J. Smith on Saturday along State Route 7 near Beautiful Ridge Road.
During the stop, deputies conducted a search of the vehicle’s interior and discovered a substance believed to be cocaine.
Following the discovery, Smith was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Jail. He is currently facing drug possession charges.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details have not yet been released.
