One person arrested following drug bust in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — A 42-year-old man was arrested by Long View Police and faces multiple charges following his detention on Thursday morning.

Michael Jerry Ferguson, who is listed as homeless, was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor larceny, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ferguson was booked into the Catawba County Detention Facility and is being held without bond.

He is scheduled to appear in District Court on Monday, June 23.
