
NORTH CAROLINA — A domestic disturbance in Wilson led to a drug raid and the discovery of methamphetamine and firearms, according to the Wilson Police Department.
Police said the incident began Sunday when officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a home in the 3800 block of Starship Lane, located off Airport Boulevard NW.
Following the initial response, officers obtained a search warrant for the residence.
During the search, authorities said they seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Police also reported finding three handguns inside the home, along with items including glass pipes, a digital scale and ammunition.
Officials identified the suspect as 33-year-old Ryan J. Hansley, who was taken into custody.
According to police, Hansley is facing multiple charges, including assault by pointing a gun, felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamine, and felony maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.
Hansley was transported to the Wilson County Jail and held under a $255,000 secured bond. Authorities said he was later released on bond, according to court records.
The investigation remains ongoing.
