
NORTH CAROLINA — A 24-year-old Havelock man is facing multiple felony charges after police executed a search warrant at his residence Friday during a narcotics investigation.
According to the Havelock Police Department, officers served the warrant Feb. 13 while investigating the sale and delivery of illegal drugs. The residence searched belonged to Warren Banks Jr., police said.
During the search, officers seized 63 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 14 oxycodone pills, and 426 grams of marijuana. Police also recovered $5,647 in cash and four firearms.
Banks was arrested and charged with felony trafficking in cocaine; felony possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule I controlled substance; seven counts of felony possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance; felony maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances; felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said Banks was also served with an Order for Arrest from Craven County. He is being held without bond and is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Craven County.
