
NORTH CAROLINA — A Craven County man is facing multiple drug-related charges following a traffic stop earlier this month, according to the Craven County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies with the sheriff’s office Criminal Patrol Bureau stopped a vehicle on Jan. 23 along River Road near Weyerhaeuser Road for a traffic violation. During a search of the vehicle, deputies reported finding cocaine and marijuana.
Authorities said Anthony Lamont Hill, 43, of Sampson Street in New Bern, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hill was taken to the Craven County Confinement Facility, where he was placed under a $15,000 secured bond.
