NORTH CAROLINA — A Wilson man is in custody after police discovered drugs during a traffic stop Thursday afternoon, according to Kinston police.

Tasean White, 34, was arrested just before 1:15 p.m. on Rosanne Drive near Herritage Street following a stop for a motor vehicle violation.

Officers said they observed signs of possible drug activity, prompting a further search that led to the discovery of MDMA.

White has been charged with trafficking in MDA/MDMA and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was also served with unrelated arrest orders during the incident.
