
NORTH CAROLINA — A 36-year-old man was arrested Monday afternoon on multiple drug and weapons charges following his apprehension on two active arrest warrants, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
Officers arrested Joseph DellaCamera around 4:55 p.m. in the 4100 block of Princess Place Drive. During a search, police discovered fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, a knife, and a stun gun in his possession.
DellaCamera is facing several charges, including:
- Manufacture of methamphetamine
- Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or distribute cocaine
- Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or distribute a Schedule II controlled substance
- Felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Failure to appear on a felony charge
- Carrying a concealed weapon
He is currently being held at the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center on a $107,500 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for 2 p.m. on July 24 in Courtroom 100 of the New Hanover County Courthouse.
