MISSOURI — A Sedalia man is facing multiple drug charges after authorities discovered a large quantity of methamphetamine concealed in his vehicle.
Joseph Edwards, 47, was arrested on June 18 following a search conducted by the Sedalia Police Department and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force.
Officers executed a search warrant at a residence located at 1701 East 4th Street as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected meth trafficking.
During the search, officers found more than a quarter pound of methamphetamine hidden in a concealed compartment inside Edwards’ vehicle.
Edwards has been charged with second-degree drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. He is being held in the Pettis County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
