MISSISSIPPI — Deputies with the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office arrested a local man during a daytime narcotics operation in the Redland Sarepta Road area on Monday, June 2.
According to the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division (CID), the Patrol Division seized a felony amount of methamphetamine during the operation.
The suspect, 45-year-old Randy Allen Taylor of Pontotoc County, was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and multiple misdemeanor violations.
Taylor was booked into the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office Adult Detention Center.
Following an investigation by the CID, he was formally charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine).
Bond was set at $10,000 by a Pontotoc County Justice Court Judge.
