
LOUISIANA — A woman was arrested in Assumption Parish after deputies discovered drugs during the execution of a search warrant, according to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the search warrant was served Monday afternoon at a residence belonging to 44-year-old Tonya Jean Conner. During the search, investigators reported finding methamphetamine, marijuana, and assorted drug paraphernalia inside the home.
Following the search, Conner was taken into custody and booked into jail. Authorities said she faces multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal window tint, and having a temporary registration that was expired or altered.
No additional details about the investigation were released.
