
LOUISIANA — A man was arrested Sunday after police discovered drugs and a stolen firearm in his vehicle during a traffic stop, the Baton Rouge Police Department reported.
Officers, who were working a crash at Highland Road and Lorri Burgess Avenue on August 24, noticed a vehicle with dark window tint. When the vehicle was stopped, police said a strong odor of marijuana was detected.
A search of the vehicle revealed more than 2 pounds of marijuana, a Glock 23 reported stolen through EBRSO, 12 bottles of 16-ounce Promethazine, and 1.5 grams of fentanyl.
Devante Pugh was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a legend drug, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
