
LOUISIANA — A Louisiana woman was arrested Tuesday after deputies discovered drugs hidden inside a child’s toy during a traffic stop in St. Tammany Parish.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Challenger on June 17 along Highway 11 near Interstate 12 in Slidell.
During the stop, deputies found marijuana in the possession of the passenger, identified as 56-year-old Sherida Graham of Sun, Louisiana. This discovery led to a full search of the vehicle.
Inside the car, authorities located approximately 362 grams of methamphetamine, 28 grams of marijuana, two THC vape cartridges, and various drug paraphernalia.
Investigators said most of the meth was hidden inside a children’s stuffed animal backpack. All of the items were determined to belong to Graham.
She was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance, possession of a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
