KENTUCKY — A Todd County man is facing multiple drug-related charges following a traffic stop Monday, according to authorities.

Officials said 43-year-old Joseph O’Bryan of Guthrie was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at 5 p.m.

The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force asked O’Bryan to exit the vehicle, and a subsequent search uncovered a set of digital scales and over 1 pound of suspected methamphetamine.

According to a citation, O’Bryan admitted to receiving the drugs in the mail, transferring some to another person, and intending to take the remainder to Clarksville, Tennessee to sell. He was also found in possession of artificial knuckles.

O’Bryan was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (first offense, greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess. He remains in the Todd County Jail.
