KENTUCKY — A man was arrested on drug-related charges after shots were allegedly fired at a vehicle in the parking lot of a Jeffersonville apartment complex, police said.
According to the Jeffersonville Police Department, officers responded Thursday to a reported domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Lynndale Drive. Officers were told the suspect, identified as “Keith,” was armed.
Shortly afterward, police said they heard multiple rounds of gunfire near the Edison Apartment complex, located north of the initial call. At the scene, officers located Keith Lee II, who matched the description provided.
Police said a vehicle unrelated to the disturbance was struck multiple times by gunfire while driving through the parking lot, though no injuries were reported.
Following interviews and search warrants, officers seized what they described as a significant quantity of illegal narcotics and firearm accessories.
Lee was taken into custody on several drug-related charges. Investigators said additional charges may be filed as the case continues.
