KENTUCKY — A Bowling Green man is facing several charges after police say a stolen firearm and drugs were found in his home Monday afternoon.
The Bowling Green Police Department responded around 1:24 p.m. to assist with a search of a residence on the 600 block of East Fourth Avenue. Authorities said a complaint indicated that 71-year-old Thomas Duncan possessed drugs and a firearm.
Duncan reportedly signed a consent-to-search form. Officers found a handgun, which was confirmed stolen from Louisville, and two broken glass pipes containing a white powdery substance.
Duncan was taken into custody and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail. He faces charges including possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property (firearm), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (second offense, cocaine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
