KENTUCKY — A traffic stop in Oak Grove on Friday morning led to multiple charges for a Hopkinsville woman, including drug trafficking, according to police.
Oak Grove Police said they stopped a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Rebecca Weaver on Fort Campbell Boulevard for a turn signal violation. During the stop, officers reported that Weaver showed signs of being under the influence.
After conducting a field sobriety test, police arrested Weaver. A search of her vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine and marijuana, authorities said.
Weaver was charged with trafficking meth, possession of marijuana, DUI, failure to or improper signal, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
