KENTUCKY — A Somerset woman was arrested on August 3 after being found with suspected methamphetamine during a traffic stop north of London.
The incident occurred off Rockcastle River Forestry Road, approximately 9 miles north of the city.
Deputies stopped a silver Dodge Dakota after observing a woman standing on the rear bumper of the moving vehicle.
During the stop, officers discovered the woman was wanted on two outstanding warrants. She was also found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and a meth pipe.
The woman, identified as 41-year-old Valerie Meece of Somerset, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to wear seatbelts, and possession of a controlled substance (first degree, second offense, methamphetamine).
Meece is currently being held at the Laurel County Correctional Center.
