KANSAS — A traffic stop in Osage County earlier this week led to the arrest of an Osage City woman on suspected drug-related charges.
According to Sheriff Chris Wells, an investigator conducted the stop Tuesday at the junction of Kansas Highway 31 and Lewelling Road.
During the stop, illegal narcotics were allegedly discovered.
Emily Hurla, 34, was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
She also faces allegations of interference with law enforcement, using an illegal registration, and driving without liability insurance.
Formal charges are pending as the investigation continues.
