
KANSAS — A Topeka woman was arrested early Friday morning on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop, according to Shawnee County Sheriff Brian C. Hill.
Shortly before 2:45 a.m. on May 16, a deputy with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office stopped a black 2013 Ford Taurus in the 3000 block of SE Minnesota Avenue.
During the investigation, illegal narcotics were discovered.
The driver, identified as 57-year-old Cindy L. Kinmon of Topeka, was taken into custody and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections.
Kinmon faces the following charges:
- Possession of opiate, opium, narcotic, or certain stimulant
- Possession of marijuana
- Use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia
- Operating a vehicle without two functional tail lamps
The incident remains under investigation.
