
INDIANA — A 22-year-old man was arrested following a traffic stop in Gibson County after deputies discovered marijuana in his vehicle, according to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the stop occurred on U.S. 41 after a vehicle was clocked traveling 81 miles per hour in a 60-mile-per-hour zone. During the stop, officers reported detecting the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
Following a drug investigation, deputies took the driver, identified as Alex Orr, into custody. Authorities said approximately 120 grams of marijuana were found during the investigation.
Orr was transported to the Gibson County Jail, where he was charged with possession of marijuana with a prior conviction.
The case remains under investigation.
