
GEORGIA — A routine speeding stop on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Duluth turned into a significant arrest after police discovered drugs and alcohol inside the vehicle.
According to officers, the driver was under the influence at the time of the stop. Police said the individual was found in possession of cocaine, Schedule I substances with intent to distribute, and an open container of alcohol.
The suspect was arrested and transported to jail.
Authorities said the case underscores the importance of traffic enforcement in keeping impaired drivers and illegal drugs off local roads.
