GEORGIA — A man was arrested following a drug raid at a Coffee County residence where authorities recovered narcotics, cash, and a firearm.
On Friday, July 18, the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a home near Alderman Drive as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
During the search, officers discovered crack cocaine, more than an ounce of marijuana, and a large amount of U.S. currency in small denominations, which officials say is commonly linked to street-level drug sales.
Investigators also found additional evidence of illegal drug activity and recovered a black Glock 22 Gen 4 pistol.
As a result, Marquavious Walker was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana more than one ounce. He was transported to the Coffee County Jail.
