GEORGIA — The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) has announced what it calls one of the largest drug busts in the county’s history, following a month-long undercover investigation.
On July 15, 2025, detectives with WCSO’s Narcotics Division conducted a covert operation that resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal drugs, including:
Authorities also arrested Alan Sias, who they identified as a known gang member. Sias is facing multiple drug-related charges, including:
“This amount of fentanyl is enough to kill over 100,000 people,” said Whitfield County Sheriff Darren Pierce. “If you deal drugs in Whitfield County, you will be arrested.”
Sias remains in custody as the investigation continues.
