
GEORGIA — A Smithville man was arrested Thursday following a drug investigation by the Mid-South Narcotics Task Force, according to a press release from local authorities.
Anthony Wallace, 46, was taken into custody on May 22 after allegedly arranging and completing a cocaine sale at a local business in Crisp County.
Following the transaction, Wallace was arrested and transported to the Crisp County Jail.
He is charged with the sale of cocaine and use of a communication facility in a drug transaction.
Officials credited the Mid-South Narcotics Task Force, led by Captain David Childs, for their continued efforts to combat drug activity in the region.
