FLORIDA — The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman on several drug-related charges Sunday after discovering an intoxicated juvenile lying in the road.
Authorities responded to a disturbance call on PDL Springs Road and found the female juvenile at the scene.
According to the sheriff’s office, the juvenile and witnesses said that April Jones had provided alcohol to the minor earlier at the location.
Jones was located shortly after and detained. A search of her bag uncovered multiple illegal substances, including psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Emergency medical services transported the juvenile to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Jones was arrested and charged with possession of psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The investigation is ongoing.
