FLORIDA — One person was arrested Saturday night following a drug investigation in Broward County that resulted in the seizure of marijuana, firearms, and tens of thousands of dollars in cash, according to the Lauderhill Police Department.
Police said 25-year-old Christopher Wolverton was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to sell cannabis after what authorities described as a lengthy investigation.
During the operation, officers seized more than 600 grams of marijuana. Investigators also recovered five guns and more than $70,000 in cash.
Authorities have not released additional details about the investigation or whether further arrests are expected.
The case remains under investigation.
