
FLORIDA — A 40-year-old man is facing multiple drug trafficking and weapons-related charges following a search warrant execution in Escambia County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Chip Simmons said Willie Craig was arrested on December 9 after deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 3500 block of Mobile Highway.
During the search, deputies seized approximately 264 grams of cocaine, 52 grams of marijuana, three firearms, $2,325 in cash, and a bulletproof vest, Simmons said.
Craig has been charged with drug trafficking and possession of a bulletproof vest while in possession of a controlled substance. Sheriff Simmons stated the residence on Mobile Highway was being used as a drug house and has now been shut down.
Craig is currently being held in the Escambia County Jail. His bond has been set at a total of $198,500.
