ALABAMA — A joint operation by the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Department, Ranburne Police Department, and the 7th Judicial Major Crimes Unit led to the arrest of a Heflin man on drug charges following the execution of a narcotics search warrant.

The search was conducted on June 13, 2025, at a residence in the 700 block of County Road 41 as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity.

Authorities say they recovered a significant amount of methamphetamines, multiple firearms, and drug paraphernalia during the search.

Robbye Christopher Roberts, 67, of Heflin, was taken into custody without incident.

He is charged with felony trafficking in methamphetamines and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond has been set at $303,000.
