ALABAMA — A man is facing drug trafficking charges after police discovered marijuana and cash during a search of a home in Eufaula, according to authorities.
The Eufaula Police Department said Terrance Dawkins was initially arrested March 21 on an active warrant following a traffic stop. During the investigation, officers conducted a search at a residence in the 100 block of Dogwood Circle.
Police said the search resulted in the seizure of approximately four pounds of marijuana, a digital scale and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Dawkins was subsequently charged with trafficking in connection with the findings, officials said.
Authorities also reported that Brianna Slater was arrested during the traffic stop on active warrants. No additional details about those charges were released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
