
ALABAMA — A Cullman man was arrested Saturday after police executed a search warrant at a residence while investigating drug-related complaints from the community.
According to the Cullman Police Department, officers developed probable cause during the investigation and obtained a search warrant for the home.
During the search, police said they found 7.78 grams of fentanyl along with drug paraphernalia inside the residence.
Thomas Sawyer, 44, was taken into custody and charged with trafficking in fentanyl, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing governmental operations and resisting arrest, police said.
No additional details were immediately released. The investigation remains ongoing.
