
ALABAMA — The Creola Police Department has announced that K9 Arac has officially returned to active duty and is already making an impact.
On the night of April 18, at approximately 11:55 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Old US Highway 43 at Country Lane.
During the stop, officers developed reasonable suspicion that the driver was involved in criminal activity.
K9 Arac was deployed and successfully alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.
A search uncovered 2.54 grams of methamphetamine, 4 grams of marijuana, and multiple devices containing drug residue.
The driver was arrested and charged with several offenses, including felony drug possession, and was transported to Mobile Metro for processing.
The department praised K9 Arac’s efforts and reaffirmed its commitment to public safety through vigilant law enforcement and effective use of K9 units.
