ALABAMA — A routine traffic stop on I-65 early Monday morning led to the arrest of a Florida man after police discovered drugs, cash, and weapons in his vehicle.
Priceville Police stopped the vehicle near mile marker 333 at 2:15 a.m. The driver was identified as 58-year-old Steven Michael Ramsey of Ebro, Florida.
During a probable cause search, officers said they found a significant amount of marijuana, synthetic THC concentrate/oil, various drug paraphernalia, and cash. Police indicated that the combination of items suggested illegal sale and transportation of narcotics.
Ramsey was arrested and taken to the Morgan County Jail, where he faces charges including Trafficking Dangerous Drugs–Synthetic Narcotics, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana in the First Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is being held on a $135,300 bond.
