ALABAMA — An 18-year-old Tuscumbia resident is facing drug charges after a traffic stop Thursday night, authorities said.
The Priceville Police Department K-9 Unit pulled over a vehicle on Highway 67 near the I-65 overpass around 9 p.m. The driver was identified as Cameron Chavez Pearson.
Following the stop, officers established probable cause to search the vehicle and discovered approximately one pound of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Pearson was arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail, where he faces charges of unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $2,800.
