ALABAMA — A Lauderdale County man was arrested Sunday morning on an active felony warrant and drug possession charges following a traffic stop.
Deputies said the vehicle, driven by Robert Allen Winton, was stopped around 1 a.m. on Highway 20 near County Road 200 for improper lane usage. Authorities learned Winton had an active felony probation warrant with the Tennessee Department of Corrections.
A probable cause search of the vehicle uncovered a 10-gram bag of methamphetamine hidden inside a drink container.
Winton was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and remains in custody on a hold for Tennessee authorities.
