ALABAMA — The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of a Lexington man Thursday after a drug task force search uncovered methamphetamine, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
According to investigators, agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on AL-64 tied to suspected drug-dealing activity.
Inside, deputies said they recovered about 31 grams of methamphetamine (ICE), 7 grams of cocaine, and various items of drug paraphernalia.
As a result, 64-year-old Teddy Joe Wray was taken into custody and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The sheriff’s office said additional charges are possible and more suspects may be charged as the investigation continues.
