OHIO — A man was arrested Monday evening following a violent domestic dispute on Buckeye Avenue.
Russells Point Police responded to a call about two men fighting inside a home on the 400 block of Buckeye Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found the victim in the middle of the road attempting to defend himself against Randall Lourance Jr., 39, who was acting aggressively.
According to police, Lourance had tackled the victim and struck him in the face.
When officers intervened, Lourance became combative, stating they would have to shoot him before he would go to jail. As officers attempted to arrest him, he resisted and tried to pull away.
Lourance was eventually subdued, handcuffed, and transported to the Logan County Jail. He faces charges of felony domestic violence and resisting arrest.
