PENNSYLVANIA — A Lancaster County man was arrested after allegedly punching a woman and throwing rocks that injured a child, authorities said.
East Cocalico Township Police said they responded to a disturbance on Oak Street at 11:51 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2. Police reported that Steven Irwin, 44, of Denver Borough, punched a woman in the face and threw large rocks through his house window.
Investigators said one of the rocks struck a child in the face, breaking their nose. Police did not release information regarding the extent of the woman’s injuries.
Irwin was taken into custody and charged with simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct. He was held at Lancaster County Prison with bail set at $5,000.
