OHIO — A 34-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with the October death of a man found in a tent behind a home in the Summit Lake neighborhood.
Aaron Feaster, already in custody at the Summit County Jail on theft charges and a probation violation, now faces additional charges of murder and felonious assault in the death of 42-year-old Michael Zaro.
According to Akron police, officers were called to the 800 block of Oberlin Street around 5:25 a.m. on Oct. 15 after a resident reported hearing an altercation.
During their search, officers discovered Zaro’s body inside a tent behind a vacant house. Police say there were signs of trauma.
In a news release, investigators said “additional information and evidence” led to the charges against Feaster.
Further details have not been released.
