OHIO — A man is in custody following a fatal stabbing early Saturday morning in Lima, according to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the 1500 block of Edgewood Drive at 4:14 a.m. after a male was found lying in a yard with multiple stab wounds.
The victim showed no signs of life and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released the victim’s name.
One person was taken into custody in connection with the incident.
While the sheriff’s office did not disclose the suspect’s identity, jail records show that Juan Anthony Green, 49, of Lima, was booked Saturday afternoon on a murder charge.
He was the only individual booked on that charge that day.
The investigation remains ongoing.
