One person arrested following deadly shooting in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — A man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder following a fatal shooting over the weekend in southeast Memphis, according to police.

Memphis Police said 44-year-old Raffael Newman is accused of shooting and killing a man at an apartment complex on Ridge Drive.

The victim’s identity and a possible motive have not yet been released.

Newman is being held on a $350,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

No other information has been released at this time.
